In short: you do not need an account
There is no registration requirement at calovo:
- Subscribing to calendars works completely anonymously – no sign-up, no email address.
- Raffles, prediction games, and challenges also work without a calovo account: you only provide an email address and a display name and confirm the link we send you. No password needed.
Only calendar providers – clubs and companies publishing their own events – need a separate account. That is the calovo cockpit “calpit”, more about it here.
The calovo app for Android
The free calovo app (Android 8.0 or newer) is the most convenient way to subscribe to calfeeds on Android:
- Search calendars right in the app and subscribe with one tap – no detour via the browser.
- More current than the Google route: the app fetches changes every 6 hours by default (configurable down to 3 hours) and can be refreshed manually any time. Google Calendar usually needs a few hours, in rare cases up to 72 hours.
- Manage everything: name, color, reminders, and refresh interval per calendar – and unsubscribe with an “Undo” option.
- Built-in help: if events do not show up, the app checks permission, account, and sync itself and repairs on request.
